Canes 2-0 after winning in ninth round of shootout

It took nine rounds of a shootout, but the Carolina Hurricanes, after blowing a three-goal lead, posted a 6-5 victory over the Los Angeles Kings late Saturday night, improving to 2-0 along the way.
