Jackets hire Hall of Famer Recchi as an assistant

Sean Couturier, the Philadelphia Flyers’ forward who has had back surgery twice since 2021, will skate in a game for the first time in 20 months on Monday, when his club takes on the New Jersey Devils in the preseason opener for both clubs.
