The Winnipeg Jets finally have a captain again. The team gave forward Adam Lowry the honor Tuesday, making him the third captain in franchise history since the Jets moved from Atlanta. Here’s what you need to know:
Winnipeg played without a captain last season after stripping Blake Wheeler of the title in September.
Lowry is entering his 10th season with the Jets, who drafted him in the third round in 2011.
Last season, he tallied 13 goals and 23 assists in 82 regular-season games and added four goals in five playoff games.
