The deal carries an average annual value of $5.75 million, according to league sources.
Zegras has not been with the team during training camp practices, sitting out since late September due to contract issues.
This offseason, Zegras was a restricted free agent. He finished his entry-level deal last season, tying for the team lead with 23 goals — equaling his total from his rookie season — and leading the Ducks with 65 points.
